Methodology
We took a census of the public gallery rather than selecting only favorable examples. For each complete slideshow, we recorded the brand category, opening hook type and number of slides. The observed categories are Security, Marketing, SEO. The hook taxonomy currently includes How-to, Founder stack, Checklist, Contrarian.
The slide count includes the opening and final slide. A hook type describes the job of the opening, not its tone. The underlying creative remains available on the gallery page so anyone can check the classification.
What this baseline does not prove
This is a small first-party structural sample. It does not compare performance across platforms, establish an ideal slide count or represent the entire SaaS market. We do not have permission to publish customer reach, saves, watch time, leads or revenue, so none of those outcomes are inferred here.
All four current sequences contain seven slides. That describes the present gallery, not a recommendation. The right length is the shortest sequence that delivers the promised lesson without skipping necessary context.
How the dataset will grow
New complete public examples will automatically expand the structural census. A future performance edition will remain separate and will include only anonymized, opt-in account data with a documented platform, timeframe, denominator and minimum sample threshold.
We will preserve prior releases so changes to the sample and taxonomy stay visible. Questions or corrections can be sent to jacob@thunkle.ai.
